âÂ 477.400. Â Â Reports to belong to offices. â All reports furnished as aforesaid under this chapter shall belong to the respective offices of said officers, and shall be delivered to their successors in office respectively, and shall, as received, be stamped upon the outside of the lids with the seal of the respective offices or courts; and in case there be no seal, there shall be written upon their lids the style of the office or court to which they belong.
