â 473.533.   Platting of real estate. â Whenever in the opinion of the court, it is to the interest of the estate to divide any lands belonging to the estate into village or town lots, the court, upon application of the executor or administrator, may make an order causing the same to be done; and thereupon the executor or administrator shall cause a plat of the lands so ordered to be divided to be made according to the provisions of the statute concerning the plats of towns and villages, and submit the same to the court for its approval.  Upon approval of the plat by the court, a copy of the order approving the same, properly certified, shall be endorsed thereon; and the plat, so endorsed, shall be deposited and recorded as authorized by law in other cases.
