  473.190.   Sufficiency of bond to be shown on settlements. — Whenever a final settlement is not made within one year, the court, before extending the time for making such settlement and before approving any annual settlement thereafter made, shall require the executor or administrator to establish the sufficiency of his bond and if the court has reason to believe that any surety thereon has become a nonresident of the state or has died or become insolvent or if, for any reason, the bond appears insufficient the court shall direct the executor or administrator to give new or additional security. ­­-------- (RSMo 1939 § 22, A.L. 1955 p. 385 § 84) Prior revisions: 1929 § 22; 1919 § 21; 1909 § 29
