472.101 (4) as including liabilities of the decedent which survive whether arising in contract or in tort or otherwise, funeral expenses, the expense of a tombstone and costs and expenses of administrator. (1965) This section states no legislative purpose or intent to transmit the legal status of a guardian to that of an administrator, but simply grants to the probate court the discretionary right, in certain cases, to "order that no letters of administration shall be granted".  State v.
